We are committed to young people
Involving younger generations means shaping the world through their eyes. Their perspective feeds our vision
We believe in young talents and plan the future by investing in their present. This is why we foster the development of new talent from world-class universities through some dedicated programmes for our Tomorrow’s Builders across the world. This ensures that we have a sustained renewal of technical excellence which represents one of the strengths of our global footprint.
Our interest in training young talent in light of our faith in their ability to help the Group respond to future challenges in the infrastructure sector is longstanding. We carry on our multi-year employee branding activities, focusing on the attraction and selection of young people and the provision of professional counselling and tutoring about construction sector career opportunities.
This involves strategic agreements with Universities, engagement initiatives such as career days, dedicated recruiting days, themed workshops in university faculties, presentations and visits to construction sites and innovation lab, with a focus on communications via digital and social media, university websites and the main on-line job boards, as these allow direct and ongoing contact with potential candidates.
Wherever we are, we always feel at home
We are present in all 5 continents. People are our strength. We compete with the main global players through the work of a multi-cultural team

Webuild and the University of Technology Sydney: agreement of collaboration
Webuild and young talents. What’s on campus?
From Italy to Australia: our focus is on students and young graduates!
Over the last few years, we consolidated strategic agreements with the most prestigious international universities, and strengthened our collaboration for training and for attracting talented young people, globally.
In Sydney, we continue our collaboration, which began in 2018, with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia's first university for young people studying scientific-related topics. A wide-ranging partnership that has seen the development of various kinds of programmes and initiatives: from "Webuild Tomorrow's Builders 2020" corporate scholarship programme, for the most deserving engineering students, to the university project to support the academic and professional training of female engineers called "Women in Engineering and IT program", reaching training initiatives like our short-training tunnelling course.
In 2021 a new partnership was signed with the University of Queensland, driven by the desire to strengthen the attention that Webuild pays to young talents in the territories in which the Group works. Through this collaboration, starting from 2022, Webuild finances two scholarships to support engineering students of indigenous population. The initiative gives voice and tangibly implements the inclusion of all diversity that guides the Group's actions. It therefore contributes to establishing Webuild as a Diversity Employer.
Webuild and the University of Melbourne: agreement of collaboration
Webuild and University of Melbourne
In September 2020, we entered a partnership with the Melbourne School of Engineering at the University of Melbourne, Australia's best university by academic reputation, according to the QS World University Rankings 2020, which places it 15th, globally.
The collaboration focuses on a five-year agreement that includes the provision of a "Webuild Master of Civil Engineering" scholarship, provided to students who want to specialize in civil engineering, and a "Webuild Women into Engineering" scholarship, to continue to attract and support women who wish to study engineering subjects.
The collaboration allows the Group to join the academic network, to participate in major university events, university recruitment and training initiatives, and to organize dedicated selection and career guidance campaigns.
