Webuild’s journey in Australia began in the 1970s when it entered the Victorian infrastructure market to build the Melbourne Underground Rail Loop, better known today as the City Loop. This project cemented Webuild’s position as a key player in Australia and unlocked the potential for the business to extend its operations across the nation.

In 2023, Webuild acquired Australian business, Clough. Founded in Perth, Western Australia in 1919, Clough’s long and rich history can be traced across the country.

Today, Webuild in Australia is comprised of Webuild, Clough, and e2o, all working together to achieve a common goal and support the nation’s needs.
